Head of Engineering: Options Trading

About the role

Lead and grow a team of approximately seven engineers while owning and evolving Keyrock’s Rust-native systematic options trading platform. Set technical direction for trading infrastructure, quoting, execution, pricing, risk controls, and production reliability, partnering closely with trading, quant, product, risk, and infrastructure teams. Requires at least seven years of experience in systematic trading, options market-making, or low-latency trading systems, with strong hands-on experience in Rust, C++, or C and a willingness to become proficient in Rust. Candidates should understand options trading workflows, production-grade systems, SQL databases, distributed systems, and reliability practices; crypto exchange connectivity or FPGA experience is strongly preferred.
